Boek is binnen....

Today the postman brought me my book...and I'm tacked. This quilt had to be made! I already changed my choice of fabric, although my first choosen fabrics are marvelous, I'm afraid it's gonna be too dull for me. I guess I'm a "plenty colour person". I decided to use the original colours as much as possible and not to buy any new fabrics, as hard as it is :-). I'll try to draw on my own stash. I'm going to inform at the weblog of Inge, if there is still a place left to join the Civil War Diary Quiltclub. In this club the participants make and show a block each month on their weblogs. I already read on the weblogs that some of them are very enthousiastic and make more blocks each month...help...I don't think I'm going to make that... In fact it doesn't matter, I only finish the quilt a few years later! :-) I'll try to make up arrears by making a simple block first, although I prefer to start at the first block so you can also follow up the story
